ALSF Receives $25,000 Grant from GE

Fran McGettigan, Senior Deputy Comptroller for GE received a Chairman’s Leadership award for Simplification from GE CEO, Jeff Immelt. The award entailed a crystal award and a $25,000 grant to be donated to a charity of his choice.

McGettigan along with two CSA project leaders, Craig Steven and Jamey Mock selected Alex’s Lemonade Stand to receive the grant. The GE grant was given to ALSF in the names of Kristina Mock and Aaron Doerger. Kristina is Jamey Mock’s mother who passed away from cancer in 1997. Aaron is the son of Brian Doerger, controller of NBC Universal. Aaron has been treated for neuroblastoma and is now in remission.

GE Volunteers organization consists of GE employees and retirees and extends the company’s philosophy of hard work and commitment to communities around the world.
