Lemonade
Days 2008
Lemonade Days 2007 raised over $1 million!
This 3 day national event grew out
of Alex's front yard lemonade stand and is held over the same June weekend
as Alex's original frontyard stand.
During Lemonade Days, dedicated volunteers like you host thousands of
Alex's Lemonade Stands across the country -- all to help fight childhood
cancer, one cup at a time. Each year, Lemonade Days raises over
$1 million for childhood cancer research.
Lemonade Days 2007 was the biggest ever, with over 1500 locations from coast to coast. The totals are still coming in, but by all accounts, it was a huge success with a meaningful purpose
Join us in
2008, as we celebrate the 5th Annual Lemonade Days with over 10,000 volunteers at over 2,000 Alex’s Lemonade Stands coast to coast.
Be a part of this inspiring event and make a difference for children with

STEPS TO PARTICIPATING IN LEMONADE DAYS:
1) Pick a date or dates during Lemonade Days, June 6th
- 8th 2008 :
Any date, Any time, or you can have a three day Lemonade Stand Event.**
** Can't
have a stand during lemonade days... that's okay. You can still get involved,
just HOLD YOUR OWN
STAND anytime of the year.
2) Register your Alex's Lemonade Stand- Click

3)Read our Hold Your Own Stand Packet

4) Plan and Hold Your Lemonade Stand
Start getting as many people involved as possible -- they can help you
plan, donate to your efforts and bring their friends to your stand. Pick
a location, make a list of supplies and start making a list of things
to do.
5) Send in your donations:

* Send along photos or information that you would like to share with us!
6) Thank your supporters:
* Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation will thank donors for whom we have
contact information. However, a personal thank you from you to donors
to your stand is always a nice touch. We have included a sample thank
you letter in the materials below.
7) Be proud that you have taken a stand and made a difference
for children with cancer!
IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR STAND EVEN MORE SUCCESSFUL:
- Set a fundraising goal. Whether it is $50 or
$10,000, your goal will motivate you and others to rally together to
reach it! Of course, every contribution is greatly appreciated and will
make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.
- Write a letter or email to your friends and family.
A heartfelt letter is the best way to ask your friends and family to
support your fundraising efforts. Click
