• What is service-learning?
• What benefits are there to service-learning?
• How can service-learning be successfully implemented into your classroom in each subject area?
• How can all members of the school community (parents, teachers, students and community members) get involved?
• What is the best route for your school community to engage all learners and foster differentiated communities of learners?

When: We’ll schedule a time that works for all parties involved. This could be during in-service, staff meeting or other time that works for you.

Why: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer believes in the power of children changing their communities for the better. Our School Programs Manager, Tracy Weniger, has successfully lead many schools in service-learning endeavors and aims to create a program or experience individualized to your school’s needs.

Where: If you’re within 100 miles of Wynnewood, PA, we can arrange to come to you! If not, we have teleconferencing opportunities available so you can work with us to learn about service-learning regardless of your location!
