A fund at ALSF to accept donations restricted to research into Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome (BWS) and related disorders.

2. Where do donations go?

Funds raised through the Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome Fund will be restricted to research projects that focus on advancing knowledge and treatment of BWS.

3. Can anyone hold a Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome Fund lemonade stand or event?

Yes, holding a lemonade stand or other event to support the BWS Fund at ALSF is easy to do! Once you have selected a time and place, we ask that you please register your event. You can register to hold your own BWS Fund event, here. You receive all of the same benefits as any ALSF event; such as a personal fundraising coach, the option to receive your own fundraising kit, a fundraising page for your event and more!

4. Where do I send my money after my event?

All funds raised can be sent to the address below, be sure to include your event ID number (this will be provided to you when you register your event).

If you choose to receive a fundraising kit when you register your event, a return envelope will be included in the kit.

5. How will ALSF use the funds donated to the fund to advance knowledge and treatment of Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome?

ALSF will work with a Scientific Advisory Committee to set priorities and designate grants to support BWS research that the scientists deem to be the most impactful and critical projects for advancement of BWS.
