Five Below, the leading retailer of extreme-value merchandise to teens and pre-teens, sold 11,000 limited-edition ALSF-branded Five Below gift cards in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The limited-edition gift cards with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s signature lemon-yellow hue became available for purchase on May 24, and sold out quickly! The gift cards, sold in $5 denominations, were available at all 163 Five Below locations while supplies lasted. One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to ALSF for a total contribution of $60,000.
Five Below’s partnership with ALSF is part of the retailer’s ongoing initiative to support philanthropic organizations focused on improving the lives of children, teens and families. Since 2005, Five Below has spearheaded numerous fundraising efforts in support of ALSF, in 2010 alone, they sold more than $60,000 worth of Alex’s Lemon Silly Bandz.
Five Below proudly presented a check to ALSF at the Sixth Annual Great Chefs Event benefitting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, hosted by the Vetri Foundation for Children (VFFC) on June 14 at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia.
Five Below stores are open Monday through Saturday, 10AM – 9PM and Sunday, 11AM– 7PM.
