Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer

The idea for creating Alex's Lemonade “Grand Stands,” grew from the grassroots efforts of incredible volunteer supporters in communities across the country.   

Founded on the idea that every donation counts, we value each and every stand, whether it raises $5 or $5000!  We also recognize that some volunteer stand hosts go entirely above and beyond in the planning of their lemonade stands.  Their stands are much more than lemonade, with games, activities for families, entertainment, and sometimes dozens of other stands happening across their community.   We came to call these stands "Grand Stands" as they truly exemplify the definition of "Grand" (and it rhymes, of course!).

Since the start of ALSF, there have been more than 50 Alex's Lemonade Grand Stands in communities, big and small, all across the country.
