Superstar Chefs and Alex's Lemonade Stand Supporters Continue Quest for Childhood Cancer Cures with Fantastic Foodie Event!

Good food, good drinks…great cause! Join us for one of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s most exciting annual events, the 7th Annual Great Chefs Event to benefit the Vetri Foundation for Children and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. More than 40 of the best superstar chefs and mixologists from around the globe will come together in Philadelphia to lend their support and signature fare in the fight against childhood cancer.   

Attendees at this year’s exclusive event will get to meet the award-winning chefs and watch them prepare their delicious dishes, before enjoying a sampling of the small plates sure to be big on flavor. A complete chefs list can be found to your left. A silent and live auction comprised of spectacular items including James Beard Award-Winning chefs offering their kitchen magic in the homes of the highest bidders is sure to be a highlight along with a number of other one of a kind items.

Much like ALSF itself, which grew out of the simple front-yard lemonade stand of young cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott, The Great Chefs Event had humble beginnings. Started in 2006 as a small “tasting” by Marc Vetri and Jeff Benjamin, co-founders of the Vetri Foundation for Children and Vetri Restaurant Family, it has now grown into a nationally recognized event. This year’s goal: to raise $1 million, one plate at a time.
