Alexandra “Alex” Scott was just 4 years old when she started her lemonade stand to fight childhood cancer. Recognizing that children and young adults of any age, can make a big difference, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation is proud to introduce our new coin collection initiative for students, Change Childhood Cancer!
Students everywhere can learn that through small actions we can make a big change! Every penny, nickel, dime and quarter counts in this effort to help fight childhood cancer. Students are provided with cups, lids and suggestions of how to fill their cups and reach their goals. Teachers are provided with lesson plans about counting change and money, as well as higher level math concepts for older students. Additionally, teachers have access to ALSF’s School Programs Manager, a certified teacher and fundraising specialist, who can help adapt the program to meet the academic and fundraising goals of each class.
1. Register for Change Childhood Cancer below.
2. Receive all the supplies you need from ALSF.
