Walk Your Way to a Cure For Childhood Cancer!

Hosting a Walk-a-thon is an effective way to raise significant funds and awareness for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. With each step taken in your Walk-a-thon, you are helping us to get one step closer to a cure for all kids with cancer. 

Here’s how easy it is to plan your Alex’s Lemonade Stand Walk-A-Thon:

1. Pick a date and location: Choose a day or days for your Walk-a-thon as well as a place or route. 
2. Register your Alex’s Lemonade Stand Walk-a-thon: Click on Register Now and register your Walk-a-thon. When you register, we will create a personal fundraising page for you.  This can be used to invite friends and family and to take donations directly to your event!
3. Download materials: Download helpful resources, including an Alex’s Lemonade Stand Walk-A-Thon packet with more details to help you plan your fundraising event!
4. Plan: Inside your Walk-A-Thon packet there is a detailed list of suggested steps to plan and organize your event. 
5. Spread the word: Be sure to notify your family, friends, co-workers, and community that you’re organizing an ALSF Walk-A-Thon. Get creative! You can make posters, banners, or fliers to help spread the word about your event. You can also use things that you already have, like social media sites to inform everyone you know that you’re dedicated to raising funds for childhood cancers. In addition, you can use your fundraising page to spread the word - email it to friends and put as your signature in your emails.
6. Hold your Walk-a-thon: Have fun! 
7. Send in your donations: After your Walk-a-thon, please send your donations within two weeks of the event:

8. Thank your supporters: Make sure to share any stories, photos, or videos you may have with us!
