Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer

In an effort to bring national attention to childhood cancer, Strawberry Shortcake has teamed up with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise awareness and funds!

ALSF and Strawberry Shortcake are enlisting supporters from across the country to host special Strawberry Shortcake Alex’s Lemonade Stands during National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September 2011. This will mark the second annual campaign. All volunteers who sign up to host the strawberry lemonade stands will receive branded materials, the opportunity to receive a product pack, and for each of the first 300 stands registered, Strawberry Shortcake will directly donate $50 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. In 2010, Strawberry Shortcake’s donation of $11,950 plus more than $65,000 raised at the stands, brought in nearly $77,000 for childhood cancer!

Last year, the special partnership between Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and Strawberry Shortcake also served as a celebration of milestone anniversaries for both groups.  ALSF marked a decade of “standing” for hope, while American Greetings Properties celebrated 30 Sweet Years of Strawberry Shortcake teaching wholesome values, going on fantasy adventures, and proving that little girls can do big things.
