Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer

TBC Retail once again supported Alex’s Lemonade Stand throughout the month of July.  All of the 1100+ Company’s family of tire and automotive service centers: Tire Kingdom®, NTB-National Tire and Battery®, Merchant’s Tire and Auto Centers® and Big O Tires® supported a fundraising effort at the store level hosting lemonade stands and asking customers to donate throughout the month of July.
 
Additionally, TBC Retail Group also matched up to $25,000 during its Text to Donate campaign.
 
To raise awareness, TBC Retail Group unveiled the Top Fuel Funny Car design to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF)  at the 2011 Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals in Denver, Colorado, July 22-24. The Lemonator Funny Car was driven by Service Central driver Johnny Gray. The design was chosen by fans of the Service Central Racing Facebook page, www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/ServiceCentralRacing.
 
“We are excited to add the race and text to donate elements to the fundraising efforts this year,” said Bob Crostarosa, SVP Marketing for TBC Retail Group. “This is our way to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
