Our friends at Walgreens have been huge supporters of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) -- creating and holding their own region-wide fundraising efforts since 2010. Last year, Walgreens raised tens of thousands of dollars for our cause and they remain committed to curing childhood cancer.
This year, 250 Walgreens locations throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia once again supported ALSF by holding Alex’s Lemonade Stands on July 8 & 9, 2011. Participating stores hosted lemonade stands, and collected donations throughout the weekend. Their combined efforts raised more than $120,000!
