4th Annual San Diego Alex's Lemonade Stand

Hosted by the Miller Family and San Diego's FM 94.9!
Our family began holding our annual Alex's Lemonade Stand in 2006 after hearing Alex's story. Alex has brought our family, friends, neighbors, and community together for the past three summers to join in the fight against childhood cancer. Each year our stand has grown, and we plan to continue raising funds and awareness of the deadly disease for years to come. We feel it is important to set an example and show our children ways to give back to our community.
Our local radio station FM 94.9 has helped us immensely through the years. FM 94.9 shares our support for Alex's Lemonade Stand by doing a live broadcast at our stand each year! This year is no different. On July 11, 2009 we will once again be joined by FM 94.9 in our front yard feeding a live broadcast all day, along with live local bands, giveaways, a silent auction, and more all while raising money for pediatric cancer research! Oh yes...and all the lemonade you can drink!
