Thank you to all of our individuals and teams who participated in our Lemon Run fundraising contest! The contestants collectively raised over $20,000-simply amazing!
1st place: Jennifer Riggs won a $95 gift card pack to a combination of stores (stores that generously donated the gift cards)-Staples, Best Buy, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond plus some ALSF yellow gear! Jennifer raised $1792 in honor of her daughter, Payton Drew.
2nd place: The two runners up for the individual contest (tied for 2nd place with $1000 raised each) are Lisa Pollard and Christy Erickson. Lisa and Christy will each receive ALSF yellow gear.
1st place: Team Little Lucy has scored first place with a total of $4511.52! Team Little Lucy will receive a combination gift card pack totaling $560 which was kindly donated by Carrabba's Italian Grille, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Road ID. The team will also receive ALSF yellow gear.
2nd place: Team Dave-O raised a total of $2225. All Team Dave-O members will receive ALSF yellow gear.
Congratulations to all who participated, as you really made a difference in our grand total! Thank you for your support and we hope to see you again for next year’s Lemon Run.
Take The Lemon Run to the next level by participating in our fundraising contest. First, register for the Lemon Run and then begin your fundraising!
To begin your fundraising, set up a fundraising page on our website by clicking here. Then, set a goal for your own Lemon Run/Walk and raise funds online. You can send personalized emails to friends and family about your goal, have them donate to your page, post pictures, and create journal entries. In addition, you can raise funds offline by holding a lemonade stand or plan another fundraising event to help you reach your goal. For ideas, visit our Get Involved page!
Finally, be sure to let us know that you are participating in the contest by emailing jenniferkelly@AlexsLemonade.org. Prizes will be awarded to the top individual fundraiser and the top fundraising team. If you are an individual fundraiser, you are not eligible for a team prize and if you are on a team who is fundraising, you are not eligible for the individual prize. All online and offline donations, such as checks or money orders, must be received by October 26, 2009 at 9 am EST. Prizes will be announced soon!
