United States"A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." -Christopher Reeve
On October 7, 2013, Caroline Metzger became my hero. At the extremely young age of 6 months, she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. For the next 7 months, she amazed us all and fought the hardest battle than someone can fight; she beat cancer. She is one amazing little girl and continues to show us how strong she really is.
After Caroline's diagnoses, I (her aunt) wanted to find some way to help. That's when I came across The Lemon Run. It was only a month after she was diagnosed but I needed to do something. After talking with my sisters, we decided to create a team. The outpour of love and support was overwhelming! I still can't believe how many people were there and how much money we raised together. I hope this year we can do the same!
No donation is too big or too small. You never know which dollar will find the cure! Please help us, help them. We will fight until there is a cure.
"I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter
Dancing through the fire
'Cause I am a champion, and you're gonna hear me roar
Louder, louder than a lion
'Cause I am a champion, and you're gonna hear me roar!" -Katy Perry
