We started holding Alex's Lemonade Stands when Samantha was 9 months old (she is now five). I remember holding her in my arms and watching Alex Scott's mother talk about the Alex's Lemonade Stand on the Today Show. I looked down at my sweet Samantha and my heart broke to think about any child suffering from cancer. Pete and I decided to hold a stand in the Fall, as a way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. That was in September of 2009. We have held a stand every year since then. Our family has since grown, Alyssa was born in 2011 and started helping out at the stand in 2012.
