Hello!
A group of Cheever Circle kids (Cale & Maya Flatley, Lina & Sasha Dicovitsky ,Megan & Abby Arpin, and Tanner & Macy Peckham) will be participating in National Lemonade Day on Saturday, June 13th!!!! Over one weekend, there will be hundreds of lemonade stands from coast to coast raising funds to make a difference in the battle against childhood cancer! The event takes place annually and raises over $1 million for childhood cancer research.
There are two ways you can help:
1. Visit: Come see us downtown in front of the old Town Hall on Main Street in Andover on Saturday, June 13th from 10 AM-2 PM and enjoy a cup of fresh lemonade and snack.
2. Donate: To date, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has funded more than 300 research projects at more than 75 institutions. In addition, ALSF is able to provide financial and educational resources to families through our childhood cancer programs.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope.
