It's all about kids, and Tony Salerno III, who is now 11 years old, doing well, and is an ALSF Hero!  The insert photo up top on the right is of him from 2005 wearing an semi-original XTIVIA shirt, right before his Neuroblastoma journey started! (Neuroblastoma is the same cancer that Alexandra Scott battled) The insert on the left was one of him during his chemotherapy or stem cell transplant treatments, when all his body's natural defenses were pretty much obliterated. This is for Tony and all the kids just like him, that need a cure for childhood cancer, less damaging treatments (I can show you the still growing list of Tony's side effects) or help while undergoing treatment.

We need your help in raising awareness and funds for the pediatric cancer fight by logging your miles during the month of September and getting donations. The team is open for ANYONE to join, which includes all of Little Tony's friends and family at XTIVIA (employees, friends, family, customers, partners, etc.) and all of his extended family and friends at home.  So please sign up now and get ready to log some miles.

We really appreciate you joining our team and logging your miles to help ALSF reach that 1 million mile goal.  If you can, please consider helping beyond just keeping track of how much you run, walk or ride by recruiting others to log their miles or inspiring others to make a donation.  Maybe your friends will donate based on how many miles you complete?  Maybe those folks you can’t get to do a mile for anything will donate instead of exercising with you.

Last year our team completed 3,186 miles and raised $1,706, the year before, our team moved a total of 1,534.77 miles and raised $1,110.00!  Let's beat those numbers again this year in order to fund more research and help more families

Some quick facts:

• $50 will fund one hour of research

• $400 will fund one day of research

• $2,000 will fund a week of research

• $8,000 will pay for an entire month of research

If you are unable to join our team, then get with your kids, your family, your friends, your pet, or just yourself and get involved, host a lemonade stand. It’s easy, Tony does them all the time!
