Hello! My 4-year-old daughter and I are running a lemonade stand "For a Sweet Cause." We plan to have it open in several locations throughout the year.

Our Stand:
- Donates all proceeds to research for childhood cancer.
- Is made 100% with goods from Habitat for Humanity's ReStore.
- Uses only recycled paper for flyers and recyclable cups.
- Makes all drinks and bakery items solely with organic ingredients.

This all began with a 4-year-old named Alex Scott. She was one of the 720 new kids affected by cancer every day. With less than 5% of the federal government's cancer research funds dedicated to children, Alex decided to run a lemonade stand to raise money for kids like herself. Alex had reached her goal of raising $1,000,000 for childhood cancer research just before she passed away at age 8.

Unfortunately, they still haven't found a cure. We must continue to fight this nasty illness by supporting not only the research, but also the children and their families. Be sure to share the love and we thank you for your support.
