Dear Friends and Family,
Did you know that every year over 200,000 children worldwide are diagnosed with a form of childhood cancer? It's almost impossible to ignore this shocking statistic impacting the youth. And with that, I would like to ask for your help...
On Saturday, June 20th from 8:00am - 1:00pm, my family and I will spend the day in our front yard (RAIN or SHINE) selling lemonade by hosting an Alex’s Lemonade Stand to fight childhood cancer. Our goal is to raise at least $1,000 in donations to the cause. We're spending the next few weeks preparing for this stand and raising awareness around the epidemic of childhood cancer.
The money raised will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, a 501(c)3 public charity, to fund childhood cancer research projects. The mission of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is to raise funds and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily to support research into new cures and treatments; to encourage and educate others, especially children, to raise money for childhood cancer by holding their own lemonade stands; and to expedite the process of finding new cures and bringing them to children with cancer now.
