As professional school counsleor's we recognize the impact that illness plays on children. families, and their communities. Collaboratively, we can work together and donate our time, understanding, empathy, and generous donations for those who valiiantly need others to recognize, validate, and contribute. Our hope as educators, who witness the joy of working with children on a daily basis, is that we too can advocate for the miracle that research can bring. The Connecticut School Counselors Association Annual Conference is well attended by over 500 school counselors and counselor educators in the state of Connecticut. We know first hand the impact illness can bring and we want to do our part -one cup of lemonade at a time.
