This last weekend we had our first basket making party to prepare for silent auction.  It was fun getting together for our cause with all the fun items that people have donated and purchased and putting them together in creative packages.  Margaritas and fun finger foods didn't hurt either!

We are getting excited, yesterday my daughters and I started the annual door to door drop off of our postcards that we had made.  This week (I am a teacher) school will end for the year and then I can focus on the stand and posting posters in more local businesses.

This summer I am meeting with my new friend Paula who does fundraising for a heart foundation on how we can generate more at our little stand, and still keep the location.
