We are looking forward our sixth annual Alex's Lemonade Stand. The number of people involved has grown each year. Last year we had fourteen stands, run and supported by more than 100 children, in the Portage and Summit County area. We even had a stand in Dunwoody, Georgia! This year, our goal is to increase the number of stands as well as build more awareness about Alex's mission. Over the past five years, we have collectively raised nearly $75,000 to fund pediatric cancer research through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. This event is so important to all of us because it is about kids helping kids. Alex has set such a great example for all of us and we hope to carry that on. Please join us in supporting Alex's cause by donating online or visiting one of our area stands on June 5, 2010. We look forward to a hot, sunny day!

Thank you all for such a great Lemonade Day!  The weather was a little rainy but didn't seem to affect anyone's generous spirit.  As of today, The Northeast Ohio Connection (and Georgia too!) raised $21,363.39 this past weekend for ALSF.  We thank all of the wonderful stand hosts and all of the generous donors for such a successful year.  It is truly a team effort.  Thanks for your commitment to this great cause!

We are very excited for our 6th Annual Northeast Ohio Lemonade Stands.  This year we have 17 stands representing Portage and Summit Counties and Dunwoody, Georgia!  The Kent State University Athletic Department kicked off our lemonade season by hosting a successful stand on campus in April.  We are very thankful to the JM Smucker Company for supporting our efforts by donating lemonade to all of our stands.  Please plan to stop by one of the stands listed below to enjoy a cold glass of Smucker's Lemonade and support Alex's mission in finding a cure for cancer.&n Read more »
