Mrs. Colberts Second Grade "Stand for a Cure"We had an amazing week at our classroom lemonade stand. June 8th-12th our class invited all of the classrooms to come and donate $1.00 for a cup of lemonade. All of the students loved our lemonade and learned about The Alex's Lemonade Foundation and hoe they help Children with cancer.
We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for their generous donations and great school spirit.We made $850.00 selling lemonade and our total amount was matched by The Bruce Cohen Memorial Cancer Foundation which brought our total so far to $1,700.00. We are still waiting for several other donations and then we will announce our grand total.
