Why: Lemonade for Life will benefit pediatric cancer patients on the First Coast and nationwide. Proceeds will be divided between the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, a local organization providing emotional and financial assistance to families impacted by childhood cancer, and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a national organization that has raised more than $18 million for pediatric cancer research.

When: Saturday, May 3rd, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Where: More than 15 area Publix Supermarkets in Jacksonville, Orange Park, Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine.

Facts: This year is the 3rd annual Lemonade for Life, a public service project sponsored by the Adventures Guides and Princesses. Donations from last year’s Lemonade for Life event totaled more than $11,000. Thanks to Jacksonville area generosity, the Adventure Guides and Princesses have raised upwards of $15,000 for pediatric cancer organizations since 2005.
