Fighting childhood cancer one cup at a time is the mission of Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

The Albany JCC held an event on Wednesday to raise money for the organization. It featured food, face painting, crafts, music, and lemonade. Mickey Womack helped organize the event. She said the enthusiasm shown by children at the JCC made it easy to want to get involved.
