A national organization called Alex’s Lemonade Stand is making appearances in Augusta this summer.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand is an organization that raises money for cancer research on behalf of a 4 year old girl named Alex who had big dreams. Those dreams were cut short when she succumbed to her childhood cancer. A local Augusta resident fell in love with her story after finding it through news media.
