Several Lowndes County Chick-fil-A locations are raising money this week for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a charity that focuses on eradicating childhood cancer.
The Chick-fil-A locations on N. Valdosta Road, N. St. Augustine Road and in Lake Park will be donating 10 percent of lemonade sales this Thursday, Friday and Saturday to Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
“It’s an all-day thing,” said Kimberly Lee, restaurant marketing director for the N. St. Augustine Road location. “We’ve done this in years past, and this year we hope to raise $400 at our store.”
