Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, the Bala Cynwyd nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood cancer, surpassed the $100 million fund-raising threshold during its annual Lemon Ball on Saturday at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.
The dinner, which nearly 1,000 supporters attended, raised more than $1 million, setting a single-event record for the charity.
