Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar® locations in New Jersey announced today that it has once again joined the fight against childhood cancer by partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating childhood cancer.
During the month of July, Doherty Enterprises Applebee’s locations in New Jersey will sell paper lemons to guests for a minimum suggested donation of $1.00 – with 100 percent of proceeds directly benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Applebee’s will also donate $.25 from the sale of beverages featuring lemonade, including its Bacardi Summer Squeeze, Strawberry Quencher, flavored and frozen lemonades, to the cause.
“Applebee’s is proud to continue its partnership with the great people at Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation,” said Kevin Coughlin, director of operations, Applebee’s New Jersey. “Supporting this cause is easy to do and we encourage our guests to purchase a paper lemon or lemonade at their local Applebee’s to raise funds and awareness for this outstanding organization.”
