Baylor College of Medicine to get $1.5M for childhood cancer research

Baylor College of Medicine has been awarded a $1.5 million grant for childhood cancer research from Wynnewood, Pa.-based Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The grant will be doled out in installments of $350,000 per year and is renewable annually for up to five years. It will be split between supporting research infrastructure and educating and training scholars in developmental therapeutics.
