There’s no better way to cool off on a hot day than with a glass of lemonade.

And with temperatures expected to be in the 80s Saturday, why not cool off with lemonade that will also help others?

Lily Diederich, a 12-year-old Orange girl, will be running an Alex’s Lemonade Stand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at 205 N. Flower St. The Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research through stands hosted by kids across the country.

Lily has hosted stands for the past six years and has raised $6,960. She’s hoping to add another $1,000 this year. For more information, visit alexslemonade.org/mypage/1139200.
