Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar announced that it has partnered with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating childhood cancer.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged in 2000, when 4-year-old cancer patient Alexandra "Alex" Scott opened a lemonade stand on her front yard to help raise money to cure children with cancer. Alex lost her battle with cancer in 2004, but the Foundation has since evolved into a national fundraising movement.
