Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer

Philadelphia, PA, May 27, 2010 -- Once again teaming up with MIKE AND IKE® Brand Candies, Grammy-nominated recording artist Jordin Sparks will visit the Rite Aid at 11750 Bustleton Avenue in Philadelphia on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 5-6PM to meet her fans and raise awareness for childhood cancer with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). After a successful partnership in 2009, this summer MIKE AND IKE® is the presenting sponsor of Jordin Sparks’ 2010 Battlefield music tour.

Jordin will sign autographs for her fans starting at 5pm, and beginning at 4pm, radio station Q102 will be on hand to give away special MIKE AND IKE® gift packs including concert tickets and exclusive backstage passes to Jordin’s upcoming show in Philadelphia, July 18th.  As a special part of this official kick-off event for the tour and summer season, Jordin will also raise awareness for MIKE and IKE’s charitable partner, ALSF, by having a special meet and greet for kids who have or are currently fighting cancer.  She will continue to raise awareness about the cause on her tour. 
 
MIKE AND IKE® Brand Candies is pleased to mark the second year of its exclusive partnership with Jordin Sparks.   MIKE AND IKE® along with its charitable partner ALSF will once again join Sparks to present a custom branded experience including a tour vehicle, a green screen photo booth where fans get a free virtual photo with Jordin and samples of their favorite MIKE AND IKE® fruit flavored candies to take home. At concert events, fans will engage with MIKE AND IKE® Tour Ambassadors, learning about Sparks' support for ALSF, a charity which MIKE AND IKE® has been supporting with donations through its LEMONADE BLENDS® variety for over two years.
