Ellie Arens, Olivia Bunkers, Megan Brennan, Candice Kneip and Carlos Rosales took the morning shift at the Creative Kids lemonade stand in front of the Le Mars Arts Center, today (Friday). The children are part of a Creative Kids Summer Mornings with Angela class at the arts center this summer. "We're doing the lemonade stand for fun, and we're going to donate some of the money to Alex's Lemonade Stand for cancer research," Olivia explained. She referred to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. The Creative Kids lemonade stand is open through noon, and 1-5 p.m. today.
