The Findlay Northwestern Mutual office will open a lemonade stand today, as part of the 12th annual Alex’s Lemonade Days, a fundraiser that supports Northwestern Mutual’s nonprofit partner, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The stand will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Main Street Deli. The deli will also donate 10 percent of the day’s proceeds to the foundation.
The Northwestern Mutual office will host a second lemonade stand during the Findlay YMCA’s Glow Run on June 26.
Founded by a young girl who died of cancer, Alex’s Lemonade Days is a three-day national event that grew out of Alex’s front yard lemonade stand. More than $1 million has been raised for childhood cancer research.
