MANCHESTER — The Morris family will never forget Jan. 17, 2014, the day their son Gavin, then 4, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Now 6, and with his leukemia in remission, Gavin has rebounded well. He still suffers fatigue and headaches from continuing chemotherapy, and he’ll remain under treatment until next May when doctors can confirm the cancer is gone. Otherwise, he’s just a normal kid who loves baseball and Lego, his parents say.
