LA PORTE - Meridian Title Corp., 1000 W. Ind. 2 in La Porte, will host an Alex's Lemonade Stand on Friday.
They will provide hot dogs, chips and lemonade from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The location is easily accessible, and with two outlets to the parking lot, a drive-through lemonade stand is perfect.
The money raised at this particular event benefits the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit charity, to fund childhood cancer research projects, and to encourage and empower others to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer. One cup at a time, Meridian Title Corporation and Alex's Lemonade Stand will make strides in fighting childhood cancer.
