While you may not be able to play in the Pro Bowl that doesn't mean you can't play like your NFL favorites.
Sunday at Sun Life Stadium thousands of football fans will try their hand at the fun challenges in the NFL's Game Day Fan Plaza. The event, which is free and open to the public, allows 'players' to throw, catch and kick like the pros in four interactive zones: "The Quarterback Challenge", "Touch Pass", "Let It Fly" and "Field Goal Kick".
In addition to the games, the Vince Lombardi Trophy and Super Bowl champion rings through the years also will be on display. NFL player appearances, entertainment, food and merchandise stands as well as the NFL FLAG Tournament of Champions competition.
The Game Day Fan Plaza from will be open on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; parking is through Gates F, G and H.
The games will continue on Super Bowl Sunday but will only be open to ticket holders.
This year the Game Day Fan Plaza will include Alex's Lemonade Stand booths on Pro Bowl Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday. Founded by a young cancer patient in her front yard, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation has grown into a national foundation dedicated to finding a cure for pediatric cancer. This year marks 10 years since Alexandra "Alex" Scott (1996-2004) held her first front yard lemonade stand to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer. The NFL has invited the foundation and Alex's family to launch their 10-year-anniversary campaign as part of the Game Day Fan Plaza.
