Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Hosts Inaugural Lemon Climb Boston on Saturday, October 22, 2016

National charity invites Boston-area to join the fight against childhood cancer.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer, will host The Lemon Climb in the heart of Boston’s Financial District on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 8:30 AM at the 100 High Street Building, Boston, MA 02110.

Athletic enthusiasts and ALSF supporters are invited to challenge themselves by climbing 29 floors to the top of the 100 High Street Building. It is $25 to register and participants are required to raise a minimum of $100 – which funds two hours of childhood cancer research. ALSF has awarded over $13 million to research projects at institutions in the Greater Boston area.

Climbers can participate on their own or create a team to climb and fundraise together. All participants will receive a limited edition Lemon Climb t-shirt. Unable to make it to Boston’s Financial District for the day of the climb? Supporters can sign up as virtual climbers for $10, fundraise and still receive the Lemon Climb t-shirt.

“Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is excited to add The Lemon Climb to our collection of special events,” said Jay Scott, co-executive director and father of Foundation creator Alexandra “Alex” Scott. “Through our special events held across the country, we’ve been able to raise significant funds for the fight against childhood cancer. We’re hoping The Lemon Climb will do the same, allowing participants to make a difference in the lives of children and their families facing the disease, one step at a time.”
