As a reward to his students and staff for raising nearly $1,100 for charity, Cosgrove Middle School Principal Ned Dale will be spending Thursday night on the roof of his school.

The sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade kids at Cosgrove raised the money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation during the school's Groundhog Olympics held in February. That event, which marks the transition to the second semester, is a week-long celebration of silly games and wacky behavior, Dale said.
