Super Model Cindy Crawford, Nolan Gould Of “Modern Family,” & More Stars To Host Special Alex’s Lemonade Stand To Raise Funds And Awareness For Childhood Cancer

Foundation started a decade ago by 4-year-old Cancer Patient Gets Star Treatment

(Hollywood, Calif., June 11, 2010)---Super model Cindy Crawford and “Modern Family” star Nolan Gould are among several celebrities who will get behind an old fashioned lemonade stand in Hollywood at Madame Tussauds to raise funds and awareness for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF). During ALSF’s national fundraising weekend, Lemonade Days (June 11-13), the famed wax museum will set up the first ever stand on Hollywood Boulevard.
     
Along with ice cold lemonade, Madame Tussauds will have celebrities pour for the cause, and invite patients from the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) to attend the event. A Starline bus has been donated to take the children from CHLA to Madame Tussauds to visit the museum and see the lemonade stand. Among other stars expected to be in attendance, Jennifer Stone (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) and child actress Bailee Madison.
Founded by Alex Scott (1996-2004) in 2004, Lemonade Days is a three day national event that grew out of Alex's front yard lemonade stand, and is held every year over the same June weekend. During Lemonade Days, dedicated volunteers host thousands of Alex's Lemonade Stands across the country, raising over $1 million for childhood cancer research.
 
2010 will mark the 7th Annual Lemonade Days with an estimated 10,000 volunteers at over 2,000 Alex’s Lemonade Stands around the nation making a difference for children with cancer. Lemonade Days 2010 is set for June 11th, 12th and 13th! In addition to Lemonade Days, volunteers host lemonade stands throughout the year to raise funds for ALSF.
