Northwestern Mutual’s Childhood Cancer Program and its nonprofit partner Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation will honor 13-year old cancer survivor Andrew Sprague for his heroic battle against the disease at the Rose Bowl, Jan. 1.
Andrew was diagnosed with leukemia in 2003. He underwent daily chemo, cranial radiation and five surgeries. Today, he is an outgoing teenager and his passions include playing the drums, acting and academics. Prior to the game, Andrew and his family will experience several behind-the-scenes activities through Northwestern Mutual’s presenting sponsorship of the Rose Bowl.
