1,2,3,4… We declare a LEMONADE war!

Based on The Lemonade War book series by Jacqueline Davies, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer recently announced a nationwide contest designed to make reading matter, while raising vital funds for childhood cancer research. Schools across the United States are invited to follow in the footsteps of the characters from The Lemonade War and challenge other schools to raise the most money through a lemonade stand or other lemonade event. This is a great way to teach your students about business concepts, making Text-to-World connections and most importantly, making reading matter.
