LEWISTON, ID - Applebee's restaurant in Lewiston is donating more than $700 to help support childhood cancer research. 

The fundraiser is called Alex's Lemonade Stand. It started 14-years ago when 4-year-old cancer patient Alex Scott set up a lemonade stand in her front yard to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer cures. Now, over a decade later, the foundation has become one of the nation's leading organizations that supports pediatric cancer research. Applebee's spent the entire month of July collecting money for the cause.
