Connie Funston graduated from college with a degree in Communications and immediately entered the hospitality industry. Already an avid supporter of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, Connie felt that the combination of the skills she had garnered in school and the workforce would be an appropriate addition to the Foundation. Connie decided to reach out to ALSF to inquire whether they were hiring. Though at the time they were not seeking additional staff, Connie made a lasting impression and returned to interview when a position became available months later. As a lemonade stand coach, Connie is able to work with volunteers on a local and nation scale. Connie is inspired everyday by the people she works with and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, and proud to contribute to Alex’s legacy of hope on a daily basis.
