Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

As Rich and I prepare for our wedding on June 13, 2009, we have an additional focus in mind. The weekend of June 12-14, 2009 is the 6th Annual 'Lemonade Days' for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. During these days, dedicated volunteers host thousands of Alex's Lemonade Stands across the country - this is the same weekend Alex held her original lemonade stands. Each year, Lemonade Days rasies over $1 Million for childhood cancer research.
At this time, we are unsure if we will be hosting an actual stand at the wedding but we are certain that the Lemonade Days 2009 will have a presence in many other ways on our special day. One way in particular, in lieu of favors, Rich and I have decided to give back to such a worthy cause by donating the money we have set aside for favors to ALSF. We are hoping you, our closest friends and family, will be able to join us in the fight against childhood cancer. Please remember, no donation is too small; together we can help make a difference!
