Alyssa's Lemonade for Rori

MAKING LEMONADE OUT OF LEMONS!!!

Hello,
The reason I decided to do a lemonade stand for cancer reseach is because I know how it feels to be a sibling of someone with cancer, and I can imagine how hard it is on them.
But also because even a few bucks makes a difference in this situation and helping out means the world to Rori (even though she probably wouldn't be able to tell you that unless thats what dadadadada means). So anyway, please come even it is only to see Rori but also remember I want lots of traffic and lots of customers too.

well, it´s really nice to know that you remember me!!!! Yes, I´m studying to be a doctor and hopefully on 18 months I´ll graduate!!!! Maybe then I can go back to visit you and your family again!!! The money is rolling in!!!

I think that as of this morning, Alyssa has received about $355 in the mail (with lots of nice notes and cards) and she is surprised and pleased by this response. We're getting ready to really roll up our sleeves now and get down to business - she's working on posters and tomorrow we'll start making lemonade! Thanks everyone!

Hey Alissa...you probably don´t know who I am, but I hope your mom still does....I lived with Cathy and Rob Morin for a year when I was an exchange student and you were only 5 I guess.....anyway...it´s touching and inspiring what you are doing...it´s great to see that you became a girl so kind and sweet!! I wish the best of luck for you and I´ll pray to you get your goal on this event!! I´ll email everyone that I know who lives there in Muskegon so they can help and get envolved too!!

Hey Alyssa,
Just want to let you know how proud of you I am. I am hoping for a hot sunny day so your lemonade will be extra tempting. Sorry I won't be making the drive over to help you out in person. Alyssa'a Fundraiser for Aurora

Hi Alyssa - this is your mom's cousin Kathi and husband Greg in North Dakota. We have been reading the updates on "Rori" and are so proud of you for wanting to support your sister. You are way cool!
One of my favorite sayings is "When life gives you lemons - Make Lemonade!"
We have a challenge for all our relatives...
Greg & I are donating $100.00 to your cause and we challenge all our Johnson Family members to donate $2.00 or more. We have a lot of family - this could be huge. Let's keep the family ties going people! Rori is kinda helpless in this whole thing as she is so young - and Alyssa is going to do all the work - so we need to help out!

Alyssa's Alex's Lemonade Stand

Hello,
I have been working very hard on all of my Alex's Lemonade Stand stuff. I have made a newsletter, I am hoping to get a donation from Meijer or get cups and lemonade.
Hope to see you there on June 13th 10-3 at the tennis courts (across from Delmar Fields). Also Caiden is having a baseball game during my lemonade stand, so if you want to go I hope it will get hot so you will want more lemonade.

Lemonade Stand for Kids Everywhere!

While Alyssa's experience with her little sister's cancer inspired her to "get off her duff and do something," the fact is that this stand - and the money raised at this and other stands just like it - benefit many, many kids. Here in Muskegon alone, there are Rosie, Alissa, Jacob, Paul, Becky, and Rachel (that we personally know of - I know there are more.) Back home in Missouri, there's John Matthew. There's Alyssa's brother Corey in Cincinnati. And there are countless others - Victor, Gaby, Reese, Carson, Trey, Kendrick - too many to name - who are still fighting this disease. Your participation helps all of them.

Not in Muskegon? MISSOURI FOLKS, there's a stand at the Kirksville HyVee on the same day as Alyssa's. In fact, there will be many, many stands that weekend. Check www.alexslemonade.org to find a stand close to you!!!
