Hockey Champions for Kids with Cancer

Be A Hockey Champion for Kids with Cancer

Turn your season’s stats into lifesaving research dollars by playing hockey.

Makes saves or score a goal! Do what you love. Your hard work on the ice will help children and raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Wings, centers, defense players, and goalies — when you sign up to be a Champion, you are committing to making a difference for kids with cancer every time you step on the ice. Your great saves and game-winning goals and assists can add up to significant dollars raised to help fund childhood cancer research. You want to be your best as a player and teammate every game, but as a Champion, you can demonstrate your dedication to being the best person you can be as well!

Are you ready to join athletes from all over the country who have already become Champions for Kids with Cancer by turning their saves, goals and assists into life saving donations to help kids with cancer?

Here is how it works: register below (it's free) and that will create your own Champion page. Your Champion page will allow you to upload photos of you in action and share your stats all season long for saves, goals, or assists. Through your Champion page, your friends and family can pledge or donate for whatever stat you are tracking. For example, $2 per save X 50 saves = $100 donation to research. Now that is a win-win!

Teams are also welcome to register together and track their achievements as a group throughout the season.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Champion for Kids with Cancer?

Champions are athletes of all ages that dedicate their seasons to children with cancer. Through a personalized webpage, friends and family can make a one-time donation or pledge a dollar amount for athletic accomplishments. (For example, $2 per point X 50 points = $100 to research). Play the sport you love, raise awareness for children’s cancer and bring potentially lifesaving treatment options to thousands of kids waiting for a cure.

Who can be a Champion? *

Champion for Kids with Cancer is for everyone! Play the sport you love, raise funds and awareness and bring hope to thousands of kids and their families by turning your stats into research dollars.  Teams can register together too and track their group accomplishments!

*Please note that we suggest all high school athletes interested in participating in the Champions program notify their coach and athletic director. College athletes should talk with their compliance office about participation. For more specific information on NCAA compliance and the Champions program email [email protected].

Why support the Champions program?

Children with cancer need you on their team. Childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of children and pediatric cancer research is vastly and consistently underfunded. Your support means more research projects in the hopes of eliminating this disease from children’s lives.

Where does the money go?
