2017 Lemon: Chicago

Lemon: Chicago, an exclusive culinary event benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), was held August 7, 2017. With over 700 guests and with the help of the 30-plus chefs serving food, we raised an amazing $315,000 to help kids with cancer. Families like the Ciamarras, who shared their daughter Anna’s brave journey, continue to have hope thanks to the contributions from this event. During the event, nearly $100,000 was raised during the live auction and over $50,000 was donated during the Fund a Cure portion in honor of Anna Ciamarra.

2015 Lemon: Chicago

Lemon: Chicago, an exclusive culinary event benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), was held August 10, 2015 and raised an amazing $300,000 for pediatric cancer research. Hosted by local chefs Paul Kahan (Blackbird, The Publican) and Tony Mantuano (Spiaggia), and restaurateur Donnie Madia (One Off Hospitality), the event brought together 26 renowned chefs from across the country to prepare and serve a one-of-a-kind meal to an individual table of guests.

The 200 guests in attendance enjoyed unique fare from culinary superstars in the elegant surroundings of the Art Institute of Chicago. Among the highlights from the evening were a live auction, during which a trip to Mauves, France went for $22,000. The Fund-a-Cure portion of the evening, in which guests could contribute directly to medical research looking for better treatments and cures for childhood cancers, raised more than $20,000.

2014 Lemon: Chicago

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation's inaugural Lemon: Chicago culinary event was held on August 11, 2014. The night was an amazing success featuring some of the best chefs from across the country cooking and serving one-of-a-kind meals to guests and raising more than $350,000 toward the fight against childhood cancer.

Presented by Northwestern Mutual, Lemon: Chicago 2014 was hosted by Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia and Paul Kahan and Donnie Madia of One Off Hospitality Group. Twenty chefs including the likes of Michael Symon, John Besh and Susan Feniger converged on Chicago to cook for our incredibly lucky guests.

Lemon: Chicago added to the already stellar roster of culinary events benefiting ALSF thanks to the incredible support of the chef community.
